For spray work this mix is interesting. In a flat you usually spray one floor, while in a family house it involves a stairwell, a landing and sometimes several bedrooms on another level. That calls for different planning, which we look at per home.

Older homes: sanding, filling and only then spraying
Of the homes in Slotervaart-Noord, 95 per cent are more than 10 years old and 5 per cent are newer. That tells us most walls have already had one or more coats of paint. That is no problem, but it needs preparation. We sand walls and ceilings by hand, repair small holes and hairline cracks and fill all inside corners before the first coat goes on.
