A family house with a staircase and landing

Masking is the biggest part of the job here too. The hall, landing and stairwell are protected first, then we spray the walls in two coats. We let the paint dry between coats. According to the data sheet for Sigma Air Pure Supermatt, the paint is dry after about 1 hour and can be overpainted after 4 hours (at 23 degrees and 50 per cent humidity). We plan the day around that, so you do not live on a building site for days.
