The CBS (Statistics Netherlands, 2024) reports 2,700 residents in 1,855 households for the Stationsdistrict, spread over 1,415 homes. That makes it one of the smaller neighbourhoods of Leiden. Relatively many younger homes
In the past 10 years 22 per cent of the homes were built, against 12 per cent in Leiden as a whole. The other 78 per cent are older than 10 years. For the spraying work that is an important fact: in younger homes the walls are often smoother and flatter, so we can work faster and you need less preparation. Having newer apartments sprayed: ready for paint and finished quickly
A younger home needs a different approach from an old house. The walls are usually ready for wallpaper or neatly plastered, so we can start right after masking. Small spots such as a corner by the window or a wall behind the kitchen cupboard need attention when masking, but the spraying itself is done in no time. What does an apartment of 100 m2 of walls and ceiling cost?
A fairly spacious apartment or a combined home easily has 100 m2 of walls and ceilings. The Basic package then costs from 100 x €7.95 = €795, Medium from 100 x €9.95 = €995 and High from 100 x €11.95 = €1,195. This is based on light colours and one colour per quote.

Yes, spraying works very well there. Newer walls are often smooth and flat, so preparation stays limited. We mask, sand by hand, fill the inside corners and spray two coats. In an empty apartment it goes fastest.
