Spraying in a newer or older home: how to choose your package and preparation
In new build there is a lot of light colour, a tight ceiling and few irregularities. The Basic package (scrub class 3) is then often enough, unless you have a hallway or child's bedroom that is touched a lot. Medium (class 2) and High (class 1) are more robust. Is your home less than two years old? Then watch the VAT rate (btw). The Dutch Tax Administration says that the reduced rate of 9% for painting only applies to homes that are older than 2 years at the time of the work. If in doubt, ask your adviser; we do not give tax advice.

For occupied homes we plan room by room, with taped-off windows and covered floors. In an apartment we also protect the shared stairwell. Ask your VvE (the owners' association of an apartment building) or landlord for permission beforehand.
