Making a new build ready for paint: step by step
With new build we start by checking the surface. Are there plaster dust residues, small seams or differences in the wall? Then we sand them away by hand and fill all inside corners. An empty home is the ideal scenario for us. There is no furniture in the way and masking goes faster. In our experience a room of 12 to 20 m2 is sprayed in 30 to 60 minutes per coat. A family house of about 120 m2 is often finished in 1 to 2 days, including preparation. That is handy if you want to move in quickly and still have the last jobs to do.
