With damp patches we look for the cause first, otherwise they come back through the new coat. That is honest advice that we also give if it costs us a job.
Then we sand the walls and ceilings by hand. With old latex layers that is needed for adhesion. Inside corners that have come loose we fill again. Small repairs are included, bigger holes or cracks we discuss beforehand. Only then do we mask windows, frames, floors and sockets.
